LAVENDER FARM UPDATE

Due to the late bloom this year, they have extended their open date to August 13 and the field is gorgeous. Detailed directions are available in the Park office.

GO TAKE A WALK

There are many walking options depending on your interest and level of experience.  Lake Siskiyou now has a trail that circles it. The trails that include the three McCloud River Falls are beautiful and there are many picnic facilities.  For the more adventurous, there are trails on Mt. Shasta that require varying degrees of skill.  A stop at the Forest Service office in Mt. Shasta is recommended and we can give you directions.

FISHING

The opportunities are endless again this year.  Whatever your preference- lakes or rivers, artificial flies, live bait or lures, from the shore or boat- the water supply is abundant.  Some lakes allow boats with motors and some are motor-less.
